that's the way it is.

i'm a wanderlust.
i'm addicted to travel.
i love the fix i get when i'm leaving to airport getting outta cph.
i love walking around, taking photos, looking around, eating foods and just enjoy the cities i go to.

i got those cities on my mind right now.

berlin - türkisparade.
washington dc - homecoming.
amsterdam - just because i love this city.
stockholm - just found out how cheap it actually is to fly to scandianvia's 2nd headquarter.
unknown city - new years event.
poprad, slovakia - winter deaflympics.
and so on.

decision.

am in same situation as christina h.

got an email from our football national team, in which there were informations about the next training camp and european championship in schweiz.
the maximum price to schweiz can end up around 5.000 danish kroner.
the next traning camp which includes some matches versus the swedish national team will cost 600 danish kroner.

after the training camp, there ll be another four camps for those lucky ones picked up to win some silverware for denmark in schweiz. again another 4x$$$.

i'm unsure of many reasons.
i haven't practiced football since taiwan. the only time i touched football was to play with my nephew.
i want to travel a lot. ofc going to schweiz can also be a travel, but it's different. it's not holiday but a competition.
i long for my dc. i miss walking around in washington dc. chatting with friends in gallaudet campus. and just enjoy life overthere.

the email says that tomorrow is the deadline to confirm if i'm interested or not.

i'm interested in going to the training camp but schweiz? oh i don't know.
i think i would be disappointed with myself if i go while i'm not at my best. it's best if you can give 110 percent for the team. i don't know how good my condition is.
shitty or stable. well, off to fitnessworld tomorrow checkin it out.

and tomorrow i'll know my decision.

ciao.

on the sidelines.

am back in sweet watery copenhagen.
now trying to catch up things, been shitty behind recently.

while i were off eating bratwurst in nürnberg, drinking malibu or pornovodka during dfce8 and re-charging my energy levels in amsterdam.. i've been watching life go on in denmark on the sidelines. and now i'm back home after a quite wonderful holiday.

first of all, the trip to fürth/nürnberg with the danish dfce8 squad was great. dining at fraulein steinlein's home + playing the waterfall game. sightseeing in nürnberg - seeing the nazi place, bratwurst, eating at valpino, buyin a 30euro Burton tshirt whatever... :P

then we were ready to leave for dfce8 in austria. took us 4 train trips. but time went fast. and suddenly we were in the dfce8 camp area.

there were dutchies, italians, germans, frenchs, austrians, belgians, spaniards, czechs, suisses, slovakian and croatian deafies....+ us danes!

the location of dfce8 was beautiful. you could see the mountains. you could go to a beautiful river just few minutes from our camp. yet u couldn't swim there cos of 2 reasons but a drunky viking ignored it one night/morning.

the sun shone during the first days, and then the rain came. i tell you, lots of rain - maybe not like here in denmark recently. but it was enouff to move some tents into the wood house or the big white tent. 4 danes were some of the victims. poor 'em.

the dfce8 parties can describes with just 3 words = wild + crazy + fun.

yet, i went to bed early one night cos i got cold. the rainy weather made many of us more or less sick. i got fever + cold. so i decided to miss out a party. damnit.

well, dfce8 is not just all about parties. we went to a big lake, played football, got sunkissed, played skipbo+uno and taking photos. we also went to salzburg, a quite beautiful city that amadeus mozart was born in. we went also to an aquapark. such good times.

i surely will miss dfce8. the atmosphere. the parties. the people. the nature. thank you.

then i survived an 15hr bus trip back to amsterdam with some dutchies. pfttt. but slept a lot. yay.

in amsterdam, it was all about re-charging the energy levels + eating some good foods and watching movies & series + going to a beachparty (my first time seeing a dutch beach). wonderful. wonderful.

that's it.

now i'm back in cph. back to my shitty fat cat. hmm or it's just my eyes?
